³ Lord, the ·seas [^Lrivers; ^Cperhaps referring to currents within the sea] raise,
    the ·seas [^Lrivers] raise their voice.
    The ·seas [^Lrivers] raise up their pounding waves [^Crepresenting chaos].
⁴ The sound of the water is loud;
    the ·ocean waves [^Lbreakers of the sea] are ·powerful [majestic],
but the Lord above is much ·greater [more powerful/majestic; ^CGod is in control of chaos].
